Ireland Women's eight-year sponsor deal with Hanley Energy came to an end this week. There is good news though on the horizon with Irish oil company Certa set to take over.

"We are delighted to have had Hanley Energy as a long-term partner, and while we are parting ways amicably, it is a sad day to see the formal relationship end. I know Clive, and many at Hanley, are cricket fans – so we I’m sure this will not be the last time our paths will cross.

"We wish Hanley Energy and their staff well for the future.” said Paul O'Sullivan, Business Development Manager at Cricket Ireland.

There is expected to be a formal announcement of the new sponsor Certa Oil towards the end of April.
