Ireland Wolves will have NO fixtures for the 2023 home season.

The team - which hasn't played for a year - were due to play Bangladesh A in a multi-format series including two four-day matches as well as a mixture of T20s and 50-overs matches.

However it is believed that a further tightening of the financial belt has led to the entire programme being scrapped by the governing body.

It seems that Cricket Ireland is failing to learn from past mistakes.

In other bad news, a proposed tour by Thailand Women looks also to have fallen by the wayside.

Ireland are yet to announce their domestic and international home programme. The hold up is the wait for India to confirm their trip to Malahide in August.

Fingers crossed that happens.
