CSNI have signed Irish passport holding New Zealander Ryan Harrison for the 2023 season.

The 23 year-old is treading a well-worn pathway, following in the footsteps of countrymen Troy Johnson and Luke Georgeson who enjoyed success at the Stormont club.

He has played three seasons with Auckland Aces.

"We are excited to have Ryan over from Auckland," CSNI captain Stuart Thompson told CricketEurope.

"Ryan is a top-order batter and seam bowler which fits nicely into our team and will be a great addition to our young developing squad, the younger players will no doubt learn from him.

"We'd like to give a special mention and thank you to Luke and Troy who are having great seasons in NZ for their service here.

"We are hoping Ryan will settle in to life at CSNI and take us another step forward this season."
