Canada are likely the only team enjoying tomorrow's rest day in Uganda as they top the World Cricket League Division 3 table with two wins.

Put into bat by Oman captain Sultan Ahmed in today's match at the Lugogo Oval in Kampala, the Canadians started with a 77 run opening partnership between Bhavindu Adhihetty and Nitish Kumar, who scored 44 and 33 respectively.

Scoring slowed down in the middle overs of the innings, but Rizwan Cheema and Nikhil Dutta helped Canada score almost 100 from the final 10. Cheema had another quick fire innings by scoring 42 from 25 balls, whilst Dutta contributed 41 from 34 in Canada's total of 274-9.

Oman lost their first two wickets early on, and the majority of their batting line up failed, with only four of them reaching double figures. Zeeshan Maqsood top scored with 63 as Oman were bowled out for 191 to lose by 83 runs. Satsimranjit Dhindsa was the pick of the bowlers with 3-50, whilst Cheema added to his 42 by taking two wickets.

Hosts Uganda, who lost to Canada on the opening day, bounced back in their match against Singapore at the Entebbe Oval. Put into bat, they scored 217-9 from their 50 overs. Arnold Otwani top scored with 47 and Shahzad Ukani was close behind with 46.

Singapore's innings saw them get themselves into a promising position at 132-3 with 15 overs still to come, but they proceeded to collapse, losing their last seven wickets for just 19 runs, the last five going for just seven. Mohammed Irfan was the pick of the bowlers with 5-38 to help secure Uganda's 66 run win.

Like Uganda, the USA also bounced back after an opening day defeat, bowling Malaysia out for just 117 after putting them in. Timil Patel was the leading wicket taker for the Americans, taking 3-36 from his ten overs.

The USA lost three wickets for single figure scores, but in general had little trouble chasing down their low target. Ibrahim Khaleel top scored with an unbeaten 49, sharing in an unbroken fifth wicket partnership of 51 with Camilus Alexander. The six wicket win was secured with 21.5 overs to spare.

After tomorrow's rest day, play will resume on Friday when Canada will look to make it three from three when they take on Malaysia. Hosts Uganda will take on Oman, whilst Singapore will play the USA.
