The Hills have announced the signings of Irish international Sean Terry and Leinster Lightning's Yaqoob Ali.

Terry is an English born Irish cricketer but grew up in Australia. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break and previously played for YMCA and Northamptonshire.

He made his One Day International debut for Ireland on 14 July 2016 against Afghanistan. He is the son of former England and Hampshire batsman Paul Terry.

Speaking to The Hills website, Terry said: “I am extremely excited to be joining The Hills, I have only ever heard great things about the club and now I can’t wait to be a part of it.

"My main goal is to be back playing for Ireland and I feel that joining The Hills will give me the best opportunity to do that.

"I enjoyed my time with YMCA and loved my season in Sandymount, I cannot speak highly enough of the people there but this is the best move for my cricket and want to score as many runs as I can for club and hopefully country”.

Yaqoob Ali was born in Karachi and brings a wealth of experience to The Hills. The Yak” previously played YMCA and helped them win the senior cup last year and also featured for Ireland A and represented Leinster Lightning.
