Scotland’s Calum MacLeod will be taking part in the Hong Kong T20 Blitz from March 8-12 at Tin Kwong Road.

MacLeod impressed with a belligerent 64 off 30 balls in a record stand with Richie Berrington against the Hong Kong team in Scotland’s victory during this month’s Desert T20 tournament.

That innings brought him to the attention of the tournament organisers and he will join international stars Darren Sammy, Shahid Afridi and James Frankin at the tournament.

“I’m delighted to be playing for the Kowloon Cantons in the HKT20 blitz," MacLeod told the South China Morning Post. "It’s an exciting tournament for both Hong Kong cricket and all of associate cricket,” added MacLeod.
