Guernsey cruised to a straightford ten wickets victory against Guernsey at Grainville, needing less than 19 overs to overtake the Africans' meagre total of 99.

Having been put in to bat, Nigeria lost opener Ademola Onikoyi in the first over, caught by Lee Ferbrache off the bowling of Oliver Newey. Joshua Ayannaike (26) and Salako Abdulazeez (20) then combined to add 45 for the second wicket before the former became the first of three victims for Luke Nussbaumer. However, the remainder of the innings turned into a fairly rapid procession with only Oladije Bejide, unbeaten on 22 at the end, reaching double figures.

Most of the damage in the lower part of the Nigerian batting order was done by Max Ellis, who took four wickets for just nine runs in nine overs.

Matthew Stokes and GH Smit et off quickly in pursuit of the victory target, and struck fourteen boundaries between them as a demoralised Nigerian side fell to their second heavy defeat in succession.
