The Netherlands' warm up match against Scotland was abandoned due to rain following a positive start with the bat for th Dutch. The Netherlands had reached an imposing 133-3 when the rains came in the 16th over.
Recovering from the early loss of Wesley Barresi, bowled by Safyaan Sharif in the third over, Sstephan Myburgh and Ben Cooper put on 99 for the second wicket to take the Dutch to 114-1 after 13.
Myburgh was caught off the same bowler for a 43-ball 58, and Cooper was joined by elder brother Tom. The pair added another 19 before the elder Cooper was caught off Josh Davey for 10. His dismissal coincided with the arrival of the rain which put an end to play with the younger Cooper unbeaten on 49.
