The Netherlands have named their squad for the forthcoming T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Thailand next month.

It's a very youthful looking line-up with the average age just over 20, and only five survivors from their last campaign which ended in tears after an agonising two-run loss to Ireland saw them miss out on the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.

Former Dutch Men's coach Peter Cantrell will be at the helm for the event, assisted by Caroline de Fouw and Ted Hartman.

The Dutch squad will spend a week in Sri Lanka acclimatising for the competition, where they will play warm-up games against club side Panadura and Sri Lanka A (two matches).

They will then arrive in Thailand on November 26th, ahead of the start of the tournament on Saturday 28 November.

The Netherlands are in Group B along with Ireland, Zimbabwe and China. Group A features favourites Bangladesh, Scotland, hosts Thailand and Papua New Guinea.

The top two in each group play semi-finals with two places up for grabs at the T20 World Cup in India next year.
