Donemana twins Gary and William McClintock were both among the runs as Ireland U19s bounced back to beat the Royal Malaysian Air Force by 91 runs in their second warm-up game in Malaysia.

The Irish youngsters had suffered a morale sapping defeat in the first game against the same opposition on Saturday but showed great character in Sunday's match.

Gary McClintock top scored with 67 in their total of 223, with twin brother Gary making 46.

Lorcan Tucker (27) and Rory Anders (21) chipped in with useful knocks. Rahim (4-29) was best with the ball for the Air Force team.

Phoenix spinner Ben White then claimed 3 for 22 as the Air Force were skittled for 132.

Strabane's Aaron Gillespie (2-21) and Coleraine's Varun Chopra (2-31) both claimed two wickets apiece, while Tom Stanton (1-13) and Rory Anders (1-20) were also among the wickets.

Ireland's attempt to reach the U19 World Cup in Bangladesh next year gets under way on Friday with an opening game against PNG.
