The Scottish selectors have announced their squad to compete in the ICC Intercontinental Cup fixture in Voorburg against the Netherlands (8-11 September).

Matt Machan, Rob Taylor and Josh Davey are added to Scotland's four day squad following the draw against Afghanistan in the first round match played at Stirling in June.

After the first round of fixtures, which saw Scotland take the lion's share of the points in the rain affected match against Afghanistan, Preston Mommsen's men sit in fourth place in the table with 13 points - hot on the heels of third placed Papua New Guinea, who have 14 points, and chasing joint leaders Ireland and Namibia who both have the maximum 20 points from their first games.

On the announcement of the squad Cricket Scotland's Chairman of Selectors Iain Kennedy said “We are looking forward to the challenge that the Netherlands provide us and we have selected a strong squad with the intention of adding to the positive results the team has achieved this year. We are delighted to welcome County players Matt, Rob and Josh to add experience and firepower to an already strong squad.”

Squad: Preston Mommsen (Cap), Hamish Gardiner, Kyle Coetzer, Matt Machan, Richie Berrington, Josh Davey, Matthew Cross, Rob Taylor, Con de Lange, Ali Evans, Gavin Main, Michael Leask, Safyaan Sharif.
