Ireland and Scotland have guaranteed the top two positions and will fight it out for the top automatic qualification place and the repechage qualification place for the U19 World Cup on Saturday; as Ireland secured a five-wicket victory over Netherlands, and Scotland recorded a convincing seven-wicket victory over Jersey.

At Grainville, Ireland secured a five-wicket victory scoring the required reduced Duckworth Lewis target of 135 in 27.2 overs, after Netherlands posted 141 for nine after the match had been reduced to 37 overs a side after rain. At Les Quennevais, the Duckworth Lewis reduced total was set to 113, which Scotland scored in only 14.4 overs after the game had been reduced to 40 overs a side.

Scotland put in a fantastic performance to keep its hopes of securing top spot and the automatic qualification place after scoring the winning runs in 14.4 overs at Les Quennevais. Scotland's Haris Aslam was once again one of the key Scottish performers as he took five wickets for 29 runs in eight overs. Aslam, took the key wicket of William Harris who scored 28 runs in 50 balls including four fours. Elliot Miles was the only other Jersey batsman to make a real contribution scoring 33 runs in 59 balls, including four fours. Jersey managed to get to 113, before being bowled out in 38.3 overs.

The chase from Scotland confirmed they were on the charge to improve net-run-rate as opener Ben Wilkinson (38, four fours and two sixes) and Haris Aslam (16, three fours) took the attack to the Jersey bowlers. Syed Shah, who scored 31 runs in 23 balls, including five fours and Neil Flack (11, one four) brought the Scottish home in 14.4 overs as it won by seven wickets. The pick of the Jersey bowlers was again Harrison Carlyon who took one wicket for 14 runs in four overs.

Over at Grainville, Netherlands posted 141 for nine in the reduced 37 overs. Before the rain came in, Ireland's Rory Anders secured a fantastic hat trick in the third over getting Pieter De Graff (1), Roeland Verhagen (3) and Kertan Nana (0) leaving the Dutch on four runs for three wickets. Captain Saqib Zulfiqar was the stand out batter steadying the ship for the Dutch with 62 runs from 100 balls including six fours and his triplet Asad Zulfiqar supported him at the crease scoring 35 runs from 59 balls including one four. Anders finished on figures of four wickets for 30 runs in seven overs.

The Irish reached their winning reduced total in 27.2 overs as Gary McClintock once again led with the bat scoring 37 runs not out in 42 balls including four fours and one six. Adam Dennison (32, one four) and James Mitchell (19 not out, three fours and one six) were the other two stand out batters for the Irish. Rens Van Troost took two wickets for 25 runs in eight overs.
