Majid Haq Scotland's record wicket taker has been sent home after posting a tweet suggesting that he had been dropped from the match against Sri Lanka saying "Always tougher when your in the minority!! #colour #race"

The tweet has since been deleted and a statement on the Cricket Scotland web site announced that no further comment would be made until internal processes have been completed in due course.

It is not the first time that Haq has been in trouble for comments on Twitter having been disciplined by the Western District Cricket Union last season after postings on the social media site.
