Uganda face perhaps the strongest team of the tournament in Ireland Saturday in Krugersdorp, and will be making some slight changes to the side which lost against Canada on Thursday.

Coach Barney Mohamed professed himself quite happy with the team's overall efforts in that last match, though conceding there could be some improvements. To that end it would appear that Nandi Kishore will be given an opportunity ahead of Benjamin Musoke who has not followed through on his pre-tournament form. Likely to be called in for the rested Waiswa is young Asadu Seyiga as the coach looks to introduce some greater pace into the attack while keeping arms fresh.

Ireland's coach Phil Simmons was seen talking to the Irish press earlier, and seemed full of confidence, though it can be sure they are not taking this match lightly. The Irish side, after all, are all too aware of the possibilities of upset in one day cricket as evidenced by their amazing victory over Pakistan in the last World Cup.

For their part the Ugandans have had a relaxing Friday off, followed by some light exercise and mental coaching. Tactics will have been discussed, plans made, the positives identified, and we shall look to see a rejuvenated Uganda Saturday morning, ready for a great challenge.
