Argentina coach Hamish Barton claimed that his side was not too disappointed after losing its opening game against Hong Kong at the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3.

The hosts could only make 107 all out in a poor batting display, although they fought back bravely in the field where they put in an excellent bowling performance.

'We are not overly disappointed. We started with a loss in the Division 3 event in Darwin and we bounced back,' said Barton.

'The boys were pretty nervous and I think they will feel better now they have got this game out of the way.

'The guys are like rubber bands – they will bounce back.'

Barton also paid tribute to the opposition who he believes have an excellent chance of reaching the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in April.

'Hong Kong is a good team, they have four good spin bowlers and I would be surprised if they don't finish in the top two at the end of the week,' said Barton.

In Sunday's matches, Argentina takes on Papua New Guinea, while Hong Kong faces Afghanistan.
