Afghanistan showed that it is in excellent form for the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3 after recording a 105-run win over the Cayman Islands in a warm-up match on Thursday.
Batting first in the warm Buenos Aires sunshine, Afghanistan recorded an excellent total of 276-7, with Rais Ahmadzai and Mohammad Nabi both retiring after scoring excellent half centuries.
In reply, the Cayman Islands were all 171 all out, with Hamid Hassan the pick of the bowlers as he took 3-27.
The opening day of the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3 is on Saturday.
