Afghanistan skipper Narooz Mangal paid tribute to new Afghanistan coach Kabir Khan after leading his side to victory in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 4.

Mangal made a vital innings of 40, as he put on 66 with Rais Ahmadzai for the fifth wicket at a crucial stage of the game, as Afghanistan secured a 57-run win over Hong Kong.

'I am very happy to win the Division 4 tournament as my team worked very hard to comeback,' said Mangal.

'Special credit should go to the coach, the physio and the management We have become mentally very strong as Hong Kong is a very good bowling side.'

Afghanistan will take the next step on the road to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 when they take part in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3 in January 2009 in Argentina.
