Report

A magnificent 76 from Andrew White steadied Ireland after a middle rder collapse against the Americas (drawn from Canada, USA, Bermuda and Argentina). With Keith Spelman contributing 29 at the end of the innings, Ireland were finally all out for 183. The Americas never looked like mounting a challenge when they batted and Dwayne McGerrigle and Keith Spelman both took three wickets as Ireland dismissed their opponents for 98 in the 37th over. Although one round of Plate League games remains, the four Plate semi-finalists - South Africa, Ireland, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe - have already been determined.
