David Trist (Coach)
Age 51. Trist played for Canterbury for 9 seasons as a pace bowler and coached the provincial side from 1989 to 1994. He then moved to Eastern Province in South Africa and thence to Holland where he coached the national side for the 1996 World Cup. Currently coaching in the Dutch League; he will become coach of the
New Zealand Test team from 1 September.
Steven Lubbers (Manager)
Age 46. A hard-hitting middle order batsman and useful off spin bowler, Lubbers played for Holland 154 times between 1972 and 1996, including every ICC Trophy Tournament from 1979 to 1994. Captained the side from 1988 until his retirement after the 1996 World Cup. The highest run scorer in Dutch club cricket history playing for Hermes DVS in Schiedam.
