Favourite cricketer is Mark Ilott and hobby is watching Ipswich Town FC. Ambition is to go as far as he can in cricket.

David Brignull (Leicestershire)

Rikki Clarke (Surrey)

Educated at Queen's College Taunton and has 7 GCSEs. Played for Somerset since Under 12 and plays for Somerset 2nd XI during college holidays. Has been coached in Australia with Terry Jenner. John Sadler (Yorkshire)

St. Thomas á Becket school gaining 7 GCSEs. Represented Yorkshire since the age of 12 and is a member of the Yorkshire Cricket Academy. Played for England at Under 14 and 15 levels and played for England Under 19 v Northants in 1999. Favourite cricketer is Sachin Tendulkar and main hobby is football. His ambition is to play for Yorkshire and England and be successful.

Christopher Tremlett (Hampshire)

Mark Wallace (Glamorgan)
Left Hand Bat & Wicketkeeper
Educated at Crickhowell High School, gaining 10 GCSEs. Represented Wales since Under 14 and England Under 17 and 19, touring New Zealand with the latter in January 1999. Favourite cricketers are Mark Taylor, Ian Healey and Alex Stewart. Hobbies include rugby, football and golf and ambition is to reach the highest level.

Tim Boon (Manager)
Former Leicestershire batsman, joined ECB as National Coach, South in 1997 and has managed England Under 17 and from this summer England Under 19. Aged 37, he scored nearly 12,000 runs for Leicestershire during a 15 year stint at Grace Road including 14 hundreds. Captained England Young Cricketers in the West Indies in 1980 and against India in 1981. Has played Minor Counties cricket for Norfolk.

Neil Foster (Coach)
Played for Essex taking over 900 first class wickets and represented England 28 times both home and abroad. Three years as bowling coach at Northamptonshire CCC and in 1998 was Coach for the England Under 19s v Pakistan Under 19s in England. Neil represented England Young Cricketers in 1980/81 against West Indies and India.
