Gibraltar won the Division Two title when they beat Israel by 45 runs in the game played at Cliftonville. Not for the first time in the tournament their main run getters were Chritian Rocca, Philip Hudson and top scorer with 36, Daniel Johnson. Jonathan Mather and Gary DeÕAth weighed in with vital contributions towards the end of the innings. Jacky Divekar, Steve Shein and Isaac Massil all picked up two wickets apiece as Gibraltar made 167 for 8 wickets in their 50 overs.
Gibraltars' bowlers again did magnificently well to restrict Israel to just 122 all out in 44.2 overs. Israel did not help their cause by suffering 3 run outs, and this allied with accurate bowling by Johnson, Mather, Balban, De'Ath and Hudson meant they were always up against the run rate. Isaac and David Massil made 24 and 19 but they never recovered from the loss of Gutman for just one. This win meant that Gibraltar were Division Two champions by virtue of the fact that although they were level on points with Germany, they were victorious in the game between the two, which was the deciding factor.
