Herning
Morten is a right-arm fast-bowler who is able to produce a nasty delivery unpleasant for any opponent. His economy rate as a bowler is outstanding. He is also a leading batsman for his club team, but in the national team he will bat down the order where he can produce useful innings. He comes from Nykøbing Mors in Jutland, but now represents Herning.		 Aftab Ahmed
Nørrebro (vice captain) Explosive hard-hitting middle-order stroke-player that on his day can take even the best bowling attack apart. Also a medium-fast stock-bowler with a very useful yorker. During our off-season plays first-class club cricket in Pakistan. Has been one of the leading run-getters in our domestic cricket for a number of seasons. Normally fields in the inner circle.
Mohammad Siddiq
Svanholm
Denmark's leading wicket keeper, tiny and swift. An excellent right-handed batsman, who is capable of increasing the scoring rate at the end of the innings, a key player in the team who represents Svanholm, the premier team outside Copenhagen. 		Thomas Hansen

Left-arm medium-fast opening bowler who gets a lot of wickets caught behind and all-rounder with potential also as a right-handed bat. Thomas has played for Hampshire CCC.
Denis Zachariasson
Svanholm
Medium-fast unorthodox opening bowler made his debut against Scotland in 1997. During the same tour he produced his best bowling figures 4-32 against Yorkshire. Lower-order batsman, useful in the field with a strong arm.		 Atif Butt

Right handed opening batsman who is down to earth and solid. Looks to be slow but he plays excellent shots and has dug his team out of trouble on several occasions.

Herning
Opening batsman. During the last pre-season tour to Namibia he scored 197 in a three-day game which is a Danish record. A useful back-up off-spin bowler, a key fielder in the inner circle, a player for the future, presently captains his club team. During the winter Carsten has enjoyed success playing for Birkenhead in Auckland, New Zealand.
Amjad Khan
KB
Amjad, still a under 23 international, made a phenomenal debut for Denmark during the last European Championships, impressing quite a few people including Kent whom he joins later in this season. Amjad is a fast right-arm bowler and an aggressive middle-order batsman.		 Bajit Singh

Baljilt is a small, agile and consistent right-hand opening batsman, highly disciplined setting high standards for himself. He has often played a decisive role for his club. Born in India but he has lived in Denmark all his life.
Andy Lambert
Skanderborg
Andy is another under-23 player who has made a name for himself. Left-handed opening bat, but who can bat down the order. Bowls occasional left-arm spin. Enjoys playing on grass where his technical batting can flourish.		 Søren Klitgaard

Søren is a tallish left-arm spin-bowler who adds the necessary variation to the attack. Was the main reason for Derbyshire's defeat by Denmark, when they visited Denmark in 1994 as part of Ole Mortensen's benefit arrangements. A stubborn lower order right-handed batsman.
Søren Hansen
Vestjyden, Esbjerg
Søren returns to the side after spending a couple of years at sea. He is a natural tall left-handed batsmen capable at batting at any spot in the top order. Plays for Esbjerg where his off-spin bowling gets him many wickets.		 Mogens Dahl Nielsen

North Jutland's renowned all-rounder batting left-handed, but bowls nasty leg-spinners right handed. Middle order batsman who can be quite aggressive if needed to.
Ole Mortensen (Coach)
Denmark's best known player, having played 41 matches for Denmark, but could easily have played more had he not played for DerbyshireC for more than a decade. His bowling was of vital importance for his county, played a big part in securing the Benson & Hedges and the Sunday League to Derbyshire. Many a specialist says that had he been born in England, he would have played for England. He is now retired from first-class cricket and is presently national coach for Denmark. Made his debut as tour manager during the last European Championships. A useful club cricketer in his day where he represented AB. He is one of a group of leading umpires in domestic cricket.
